2024 General Election

Important Dates

  • October 15th, 2024: Last day to register to vote

  • October 16th, 2024: Advance by mail ballots begin mailing

  • October 19th, 2024: Advance Voting In-Person begins (5 Locations)

  • October 31st, 2024: Public test of voting equipment

  • November 4th, 2024: Advance In-Person Voting ends (12:00 Noon at the Election Office only)

  • November 5th, 2024: General Election (Polls are open from 7:00 a.m. – 7:00 p.m.)

  • November 7th, 2024: Selection of contests and precincts for post-election audit (10:00 a.m. until completed)

  • November 8th, 2024: Post-election audit (10:00 a.m. until completed)

  • November 14th, 2024: Canvass of the 2024 General Election (10:00 a.m. until completed)

  • November 15th, 2024: Post-election public test of voting equipment

  • November 15th, 2024: Recount request deadline (5:00 p.m.)

Voters in Wyandotte County have three options to vote:     

  • Applications for advance by mail ballots are available online, and can be returned to our office by mail, fax, or e-mail.

  • Voters can visit one of our five in-person early voting locations. Locations and hours will be available soon.

  • On November 5th, 2024 you must visit your assigned Polling Place to vote on election day. Polls are open from 7:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m. You can find your assigned Polling Place by using the online voter look up tool Voter View.
