Vote early by mail

If you're looking for the ultimate in voting convenience, you have found it. Simply submit your signed and completed application to our office and we will mail a ballot directly to you. Ballots will begin mailing July 13, 2016.

  1. Print out the application for an advance ballot. You can also receive an application by contacting our office
  2. Fill out and sign the application.
  3. Submit the application to our office by:
    • Scanning and emailing to [email protected]
      - or -
    • Mailing it to 850 State Avenue, Kansas City, KS 66101
      - or -
    • Delivering it to our office during normal business hours
      - or -
    • Faxing it to 913-573-8580
  4. When you receive your ballot, mark it carefully, following the provided instructions. Once complete, complete the information on the return envelope, making sure to sign it. Place the ballot inside and mail or deliver to our office before 7 p.m. on Election Day. 

Vote early in person

Voting early in person provides the traditional voting experience on a less traditional schedule.

Saturdays, July 23 and 30 | 11 a.m. to 4 p.m.
Monday, July 25 - Friday, July 29 | M-F: 11 a.m. to 6 p.m.
Monday, August 1 | 8 a.m. to noon (Election Office Only)

Vote on election day

Polling places will be open on Election Day, August 2, 2016, from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m. To determine your assigned polling place, please visit the Secretary of State's VoterView system or call our office at 913-573-8500.
